Base work is very important for setting the foundation before laying down asphalt. If you are planning on pouring asphalt you will need to get basework done first. If base work is not performed properly it can lead to an array of issues further down the line and will cost you a lot of money to get the asphalt repaired or redone. 

Basework can be broken down into 4 steps: 

1. Level and drainage: Proper drainage removes any and all unwanted water. 
2. Fill and build the base: The space is filled with breaker rock which forms the base once crushed by our trucks. 
3. Grading and compacting: We make sure that the surface is graded and compacted correctly to ensure proper drainage and a firm foundation. 
4. Let it settle: This can take up to 6 weeks and is a very important part to ensure the quality and lifespan of your asphalt once poured.
